[email protected]Michael was born in the San Francisco Bay Area and moved to Los Angeles in his early 20’s. He came into music at a time when you were still allowed to plug your guitar straight into the side of your laptop. Kendrick Lamar and MGMT ruled his world.
He spent his late 20’s as a songwriter, producer, and mixer for his band Sure Sure. After years on the road, Michael began to write, produce, and mix for other artists.
With a catalog well over one billion streams, Michael has established himself as a go to collaborater who lives at the intersection of cool, and mainstream. He is a finisher and mastermind at the final 30%.
This year Michael built a studio perched on Mt. Washginton. Designed by Gerhard Westphalen and built by Stansill Designs, it is a refuge for artists. It is a meticulously designed collabrative space, full of some of the most sought after vintage and modern equipment all while having sweeping views of Highland Park, Glendale, and the Angeles Crest Mountain Range.
